Prior to co-founding Silver Spring Capital with his son, Robert LoPinto began his extensive career in 1986 with Morgan Stanley upon graduating from Adelphi University with a B.B.A. in Management and Finance. Over his 30-year tenure at Morgan Stanley he graduated from the firm's management program at Wharton University, and successfully completed the extensive Financial Planning curriculum at C.W. Post, Long Island University. 

Through the years, Rob has provided extensive investment advice to many high net-worth individuals, foundations, and corporations. He has helped his clients successfully navigate through various market environments and meet their financial objectives. A customized wealth planning approach has enabled him to maintain many strong relationships through the years.

Rob is a Senior PIM Portfolio Manager, which enables him to manage portfolios on a discretionary basis for his valued clients. In addition, he utilizes many outside professional asset managers, in conjunction with his customized approach, to help meet the various needs of his clients. The many registrations and insurance licenses Rob holds allows him to help provide solutions for estate and retirement planning strategies as well.

Rob’s client relationships have always been strengthened by his caring and trusted approach to their individual family and financial needs.

Rob resides in East Hanover and is extremely active in his community and various organizations. He enjoys golf, softball, cooking, and boating in his spare time.

Rob has been married to his wife, Marie, for 35 years, and are proud parents of four beautiful, talented, and successful children, and three active, adorable grandchildren.

Cathy started her career in the financial industry working in the Institutional Corporate Bond Department of a small boutique foreign firm in New York City. She worked in the Syndicate Department for EuroPartners Securities and helped service their international clientele including major banks and pension funds. She attained her Series 7 securities registration at this time.

Cathy moved from the institutional to the retail side of the business in 1983, when she started at Merrill Lynch in Paramus, New Jersey. There she also became the Manager of the Client Service Department where she resolved numerous issues while also servicing and investing client’s portfolios.

Cathy left the business in 1985 to start a family. She is most grateful for her time at home raising her two beautiful daughters.

Cathy returned to the financial industry in 2000 and proceeded to get her Series 7 securities registration again, as it had expired during her time at home. Cathy became a Registered Sales Assistant at Prudential Securities which soon became Wachovia Securities. She remained there until she joined her prior firm, Morgan Stanley, in 2006 as a Senior Registered Service Associate.

Cathy enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and relaxing at the beach.

Michael Somekh recently joined the team at Silver Spring Capital as a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor. With more than 30 years of experience, Michael has been committed to servicing the financial needs of individuals, families, and businesses. Prior to joining Silver Spring Capital, Michael was a Senior Financial Advisor, Senior Vice President with both Florham Park Wealth Advisors, and with Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, partnering with his father, William.

Michael is committed to building long-term relationships with his clients who receive customized financial strategies with respect to investment management, retirement planning, education planning, cash management needs and estate investment planning. He conducts regular reviews with clients to ensure they remain on-track towards reaching their goals despite any changes that may take place in life or business.

Michael holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 registrations and life/health insurance licenses.
